Default Salary Delay For 3 months (going 4mos already)

Hello to everyone, we badly need advice from experts here!

We are 6 Pilipino engineers here working in northern region of KSA for 6 months now and as to this posting we received only 3 mos salary. We've been here Apr 15 2010 and all we've got is salary for april may and june.

Now we are planning to go to Saudi labor office because we,ve heard that the Philippine Labor Attache Office can barely handle such problems, puro delay din lang daw and napakatagal ng process. When we came here they let us sign another contract. The contract that we signed in the Philippines was between us and company "S". But when We we're re-assigned to company "A" w/c we're in now, the sister company of company "S", We were asked to sign another contract but the other party in the contract was still with company "S" w/c puzzles us again. Our iqama and medcard was with company "S". We we're told that all our financial accounts is already with company "A".

Is there still a good reason to stay and work with a company like this? We plan to resign but our problem is we've heard that pahirapan daw ang pagkuha ng salary delays napakatagal daw bago i-release yung passport and payment.

What's the best thing to do? Shall we go to the Saudi Labor Office and complain? or better to just resign and hope for an early release of the delayed salary, before heading out to our country.

Usually po sa mga naka-experienced na nag-resign sa mga Saudi Companies, pano po mga processo nila? Our head office is in Riyadh w/c is 900kms from here (Project Site). Nearest Saudi labor Office is 300kms away.

We are already not working now, its been 3 days that we're just sitting and waiting in our home, we plan to resume work when they give our salary. (But for the most we're sure again they will just give 1 salary). Please advice!

Sana po mabigyan linaw ang aming mga problema dito..

Maraming Salamat.

I'd file a complain and then resign, hoping to get what they owe you from the help of authorities and/or Philippine mission.

This is apparently a rogue company. Further waiting would only get your further exploited.

Thanks!

What if waiting for our delayed salary will cost us lets say another 2 mos of waiting w/o the money and w/o salary in our head office.... will it be by then reasonable to head home and forget everything already?

hi yostan, it is so extremely rediculous/unfortunate that current situations. by the way in my own opinion you should not to delay traveling back home on whatever any possibilities as only the best alternative way & considering a right decision.

for claiming your unpaid salaries, you can do it afterwards as i believe through this ways >>> you can ask help thru your recruitment agency whom previousely processed your work travel documents wherein that agency was also partly involved during the signing of contracts between both parties.
if that recruitment agency are seriously generous to grant assistance for that inconvenience, it can be brought the issue to our POEA relying with all your inclusives complain. if not you can go alone to POEA to file your personal complain and i assure that they are going to help you at all means coz there were many similar cases which was successfully resolved although others were not.

other most effective/realiable way for claiming your unpaid salaries, if the agency are closely having good relationship with the current Ambassador of S.A. Embassy in the Phil. the agency general manager can only write a formal complain addressed to ambassador and sure the S.A. Embassy will expedite the action accordingly and you will obtain your claim at soonest time.
