15 September 2012 - The Philippine Consulate General in Shanghai and the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) in Shanghai, in coordination with the European Chamber Commerce in the Philippines (ECCP) led by Ms. Roselu Paloma, facilitated and supported the participation of eight (8) Philippine furniture manufacturers in Furniture China 2012, which is currently being held in Shanghai from September 11 to 15.
Furniture China is an international furniture exhibition show with an excellent reputation, first launched in Shanghai in 1993 and has been held annually for 16 years. It is said to be one of the top three largest furniture exhibitions in the world alongside with High Point Market and Saloni Milano.
Combining a comprehensive set of popular themes such as Home Furniture, Office Furniture, Furnishings Fabrics & Lightings, Kitchen & Cabinet, Furniture Manufacturing & Supply and FMC Premium, Furniture China 2012 is increasing in popularity and is drawing much attention in China and globally.
This year eight (8) Philippine furniture manufacturers, five (5) from Cebu and three (3) from Cavite and Pampanga, have joined the exhibition and are showcasing proudly Philippine made products ranging from outdoor furniture and decorative landscaping products as well as classic and contemporary hand-crafted home decorations and accessories. The Philippine booths have been drawing a lot of interest from buyers of diverse backgrounds such as importers, traders and wholesalers. END |
